Our housegroups have up to twelve per group and as the title says, meet in homes. Some may have a designated leader, others may take it in turns to lead. They are important as they help to deepen our relationships and an opportunity to focus more in-depth on scripture or other topics, serious or fun.
Secondly they provide meaningful context for ongoing discipleship. We all need regular encouragement in our Christian lives and to have some accountability to those we trust. Belonging to these small groups helps ensure we are applying the Bible's teachings to every area of our lives.
Our housegroups also get together to have fun and friendship outside too. This might be organising a B-B-Q cook-out, heading off on a trip, a country walk or maybe catch a show or film.
New members are always welcome. Each is quite different - go ahead, try one.
