Baptisms or Christenings
This is a chance for people of all ages to celebrate being loved by God and part of the family of the church. We offer baptisms as part of our regular Sunday Worship starting at 10am. We can also offer a thanksgiving or dedication service for young children if you wish to let them decide about baptism when they are older. You need a chat with our minister before we can book a date and plan the celebration.
There is no charge for these services.
_WeddingsWe are excited to be able conduct weddings of both opposite and same sex couples. We also do Wedding Blessings for people who have been married elsewhere either recently or to mark a special anniversary. We enjoy celebrating your love before the God who is love.
To be married in a Methodist Church you will need to get the right paperwork from the council – this is called Giving Notice. You need a chat with our minister before we can book a date and plan the celebration.

_FuneralsFunerals are a precious moment to remember someone’s life and all that they meant to us. It may be that your Funeral Director is the person that gets in touch with us to start with, but you are welcome to contact our minister to discuss plans, even before the person has died.
