We're so popular, we're blessed with THREE Brownie units!

• 2nd Swindon Brownies meet on Mondays from 6:00pm-7:30pm
• 16th Swindon Brownies meet on Tuesdays from 6:15pm-7:45pm
• 8th Swindon Brownies meet on Thursdays from 6:15pm-7:45pm

Each unit provides weekly meetings during school term-time for local girls aged 7-10 years. 

We are part of Girlguiding, the UK's leading charity for girls and young women.  We promote teamwork, leadership, decision making and independence.  The Girlguiding programme follows six important elements for life:

• Know myself
  
• Skills for my future
  
• Express myself
  
• Be well
  
• Have adventures
  
• Take action

The girls make the decisions for what we do each term.   Activities can be anything from crafts, to exploring science, nature or world issues through to cooking and games.  We also venture out of the meeting place into the community for various adventures, sleepovers and charity work.  The end result is a badge for the girls to sew onto their uniforms.
